Well, today was day 1. I haven't made it to dinner yet but I wanted to post so I wouldn't leave anything out.
Breakfast: banana slices, papaya chunks, passion fruit & quava chunks
Morning Snack: Fat Free Pop Corn
Lunch: grilled Salmon steak (tartar sauce on the side), green beans (with vinegar), broccoli, carrots
Afternoon Snack: Orange
I am stopping on the way home to fix a LDL friendly salad for my dinner.
Today is Wednesday and I am trying to make it until Saturday for grocery shopping.
I am so excited about the plan. I read the book last night and LOANED it to my Mom this morning. A co-worker got her book today.
I am planning a trip to Disney World with my hubbie and kids and friends of ours in January 2010. I would love to have lost [glow=red,2,300]50[/glow] pounds by then...or at least be well on my way to that goal.

This is the easiest program I have ever done - and I have done most all of them! I wish you a good journey on this train to SkinnyTown! Come to the boards often for advice, and encouragement. You can do this!!!!!!

Well, I stopped and had my LDL friendly salad last night.
This morning I am eating a bowl of fresh watermelon, cantaloupe, and frozen grapes along with a banana. I was actually looking forward to my fruit this morning. (The frozen grapes are wonderful!)
I do have a question though... my mom is borrowing my book and I can't remember if sweet potatoes are allowed?

Thanks Mary! I will stay away from the sweet potatoes. Any good recipes for the squash?

Re: The First Day of the Rest of My LIFE!
Lunch yesterday was hamburger steak with lots of corn and sliced cucumbers.
Breakfast today was my large bowl of cut fresh fruit. I am still finding that I am craving carbs so I am going to try to increase my intake of corn, peas, pop corn today.
Today is Day 3 and I have always been told that when you are trying to make a change Day 3 is the hardest. BUT I KNOW I CAN DO THIS!!!!
