Well I started the race at a big 171.5 a month ago.  Todays weigh in 163.0.  I haven't weighed this in a while, so I am excited.  However, I wish this would just fall off.. lol..  I am only 35 I don't feel too old to lose weight. Yet somehow, it is just going slow..  I will try to eat grapes, grapes, grapes. 

I just got my book in the mail on Wednesday.  That too is gonna help.  Made ldl potato salad yesterday.  Woo Hoo... That was great, my family finished off the entire bowl.  My husband even loved it.  He is German, you can't fool him, but I did..  

I guess if you look at the pounds that I have lost, I have lost a total of 34 sticks of butter.  EWwwww.  Now that don't look good, anywhere I put it. So I have to say, " THANK YOU JESUS!!!"  I don't want that on me anymore.

Heres to starting the week off good.  Cheers with our smoothies.  lol

Wonderful news!!!!
I love the thought of equating the weight to sticks of butter. That just really hits home as to how much every pound we lose counts toward making us healthier and more comfortable.

I love that - cheers with our smoothies!  You have really embraced the LDL spirit. And I like your determination--- wonderful.  BTW, now that you have the book, you will be able to see if you need to tweak anything that will help you in this. I know a lot became clear to me after I read the book.

Sher, congratulations on your weight loss.  Don't worry about it not coming off fast. Some just don't lose as fast as others. As long as you are doing the plan you will have success.

I was on another weight loss site awhile back and  for every 5lbs, 10 lbs or whatever you choose, this lady would donate that much poundage in food to her local food bank.  So if she lost 10 lbs from say June 1 to July 1 she would donate 10 lbs of food to the food bank.  Nice way to give back to the community!
