Gwennaford wrote:It is very good to be back with friends.  I'm going to be needing your loving support in the very near future.  Things are not looking good for Neil.

I work up in the middle of the night last night needing a glass of water.  When I went back to bed, for some reason, I started thinking of LDL and that I haven't seen any postings from you or Needswife in a while.  I'm so sorry to hear about Neil.  I just can't imagine what you will be going through in the next few weeks, but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you both  *hug* .

On a lighter vein... Thanks for the wonderful "home fries" recipe -- I have been missing them too!  Breakfast has always been my most favorite meal to eat out -- eggs over easy, hash browns or home fries, or beef hash, w/toast and sometimes a side of pancakes with real maple syrup.  But, those days are gone (for the better) and have been replaced with breakfast at home -- eggs over easy but cooked in olive oil, corn thins, and occasionally popcorn pancakes topped with hot blueberry pie.  Now I can add Gwen's Home Fries!  Would it be o.k. with you if I added your Gwen's Banzo Bean Home Fries to the Breakfast board so all members can enjoy?

That's okay with me - glad to share. You can credit Gwennaford in the recipe if you want, but please leave my name out of the title. Just "Banzo Home Fries" is perfect. Good idea, thanks VL!

I know you are gonna L-U-V luv them. I think the toasty flavor of the Willow Run has a lot to do with creating the illusion. I urge everyone to get some, but use it sparingly. It is a full-fat product and has the same calories as butter. I keep the sticks in the freezer so I have to work for it & I'm not as tempted to dip into it all the time.

I'm loving all the virtual hugs and reality good wishes. Many thanks to everyone for the support. Things are crazier by the minute. Another crisis averted over the weekend had us all terrorized for a couple of days. Good news is it tired him out and he actually slept through the night once. Bad news is I was so wound up & exhausted I couldn't fall asleep. Have you ever been too tired to sleep? Its very frustrating.

Something else frustrating - my computer won't boot up. It crashed during its long overdue automatic updates. Sigh.......
Well, gotta go start a fresh pot of banzos!

Loves to all,
Gwennaford

I've been wondering about you, Gwennaford, and knowing you've probably been too busy to do anything but focus on Neil right now. Lots of prayers have been accompanying you -- but you know that. It is such a great gift to know where Neil's heart lies. Our prayers are for strength and peace for both of you.

Soooo cool to see you here with some GREEAAAT recipe ideas. We've missed you!

Hugs,  *hug*

:rose: Hi Gwen, I haven't posted for a while , but I have been in and out. I haven't been a very good LDL person, but I'm ready to hop back on the skinny train.

I am soooo sorry to read about Neil.  Our prayers are with you also. You have allot of people pulling for the two of you.

Hi Terri, Doodlebug & Marie. SOOOO good to hear from ya'll. Thanks for the good wishes.

Marie, I was wondering if you still have any of that case of meatloaf & sausage seasoning I can buy from you. I tried to make it last, but I really liked it & used it in everything. Esp. Beans in the PC

I haven't been the LDL poster child. I try to jump on the train & end up getting dragged along by my foot for a few miles!  LOL. But I feel so nasty when I fall off that I have to start cooking beans again and force myself to keeps soups made up.
Computer crashed again so will keep it short.

Loves...

:rose:Hi Gwen , I do have some seasoning left, and I'll be glad to send it to you. I don't have your address though. I do not want you to pay for it, because it will just expire on me, glad for you to have it. I have really missed your readings.

I just love all you guys so much I kissed my computer screen when it came on & I could see all your faces.  The BBerry doesn't show pics.

Please pray with me that it doesn't crash again.

Michelle is up from Sarasota tonight & we picked up sushi.  I had cucumber rolls with krab, 3 kinds of sashimi, and miso soup with tofu and konbu.  No rice.  YAY for me!!!

Oh Gwenn, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's wonderful knowing our loved ones are with Jesus but the deep loss is still so overwhelming. We lost my Dad in January and Mom is so very sad without him.  She keeps on keeping on tho and talks to him every night. She says, "I don't know why I do that, he probably can't hear me anyway". I told her that Dad always listened to her and he can still hear her, probably better than with his earthly ears".  God's strength and love be with you every minute of everyday.   *hug* Elj
