Whole Body Vibrational Training (Acceleration Training)

Post by crickadoodle »

I've been very interested in this and was so excited to see Dr. Mercola address it on his website.  After trying one of these, but not this brand, I wanted to get one.  I just wasn't sure which type was best and all.  I haven't gotten a price on this one yet, but I know I'll have to save up for it.  My husband has already given me his permission to get one, but I want to get the right one.  Anyway, watch the video and/or read the article:

Yes, this is all my son's talked about for the last month. The following website shows what the power plate looks like.

I hadn't seen that one, CQ.  Thanks for posting it!  The cheapest one is about $2500 -- but if it is as good as these claims, it'd be well worth it.  I'm hoping that Mom could use it too.  She's had double knee replacements, though, and that could prevent her from using it.  I sent them a question about it.

I haven't looked at the prices. I figured he could buy his own since he has a job. Plus, he'll appreciate it more if it comes out of his pocket..

They had these at the Tampa RV Show this past Jan.  I tried it for 10 mins.  It was pretty cool.  But I would get bored with it.  I think they were selling them for around $1500 and they sold the displays for $1000 I believe.

I have a pilates reformer and would not consider trading this for that!  That's how much I love it!

Mary, it probably was another brand, as there are many similar.  This one has a feature the others don't, with 3 different ways it vibrates.  As far as boredom, you don't just stand on it.  You do the exercises you'd normally do, but with the vibrations it accelerates the effectiveness.  What makes it so awesome is that you get the benefits of an hour or so at the gym for only 15 minutes.  It also exercises 97% or so of the muscle fiber, as compared to 45% or so in normal exercise.  Also, it produces HGH and minimizes cellulite among other things.  I was very curious as to what Dr. Mercola would say, because he talks a lot about producing HGH naturally by doing interval training, and this is another way to get your body to produce it naturally.  I'm very interested in that, because it makes you younger.

CQ -- let him buy it and you get to use it too!

Please let me know what you discover.  I had seen this and was wondering about it.
