I'm fat, tired and depressed.

Post by char »

I am tired of starting over, starting over, starting over. I don't know if I have any more start overs left in me. I have tried Weight Watchers (which is a good diet) but I never stick to it. I have tried other diets. Let's face it; I like food and I like to eat but it is ruining my health and my life. I don't even want to get out of the house anymore because I am so self conscious about my weight. I need to lose about 50-70lbs.
I can't find the book anywhere so that is bumming me out even more!
O.K. I'm finished feeling sorry for myself. I just had to get all that off my chest.
Have any of you ever felt this way? Please help!

Thanks Bruce! I think I was mostly bummed out because I am so ready to start the LDL diet but I can't find the book.
From what I understand though, do you eat mostly fruit for breakfast. and then a lean protein (meat) and vegetables or salad for lunch? Then do you eat mostly fruit again for supper? It sounds like a very low fat diet. Hopefully I'll get the book soon.

Hi Char! Like you, I can't find the book, either. I called every book store in the town closest to me to even have book stores, plus the Christian book store in my town. None of them had it, but all offered to order it. I thought, "if it's got to be ordered, I'll just order it straight from LDL." However, when I tried the phone # today, I got an answering mach., left a mssg., but didn't get a call back. I've looked their town up on a map & figure it's in one of the areas in danger of hurricane Rita & that wherever that phone line is.......folks are most likely "outta there" (understandably). Sooooo, now I am going to resort to ordering it from Amazon.com........Right Now!! Why don't you do that, too? :) Good luck to us all, as we begin this new fete.
P.S. I agree with you that WW is a great diet, but I also have not stayed with it long enough to get where I wanted to be. What appealed to me most abt. LDL was that it sounded like something my husband might even be willing to try, & he IS!!! I've got to get that book in my hands!

I too, have about 50 lbs to lose. Also I had to order my book from Amazon, but now I have it!
I have been on the LDL for about 5 days now, and haven't been hungry except for a couple of times in the late evening. The frozen grapes fix that every time!
I feel like I am eating like a pig and if I lose weight, I will be astonished. But I am going to give this a full month before I judge it, and I will keep everyone posted on my results.
