Prayer of thanks

I just wanted to give thanks to our LORD for answered prayer and thanks to family and friends for praying. I must share with you here that I believe God brought me to this site and LDL following a conversation with my best friend during which I shared that I thought I might have an eating disorder. I'm compulsive about sweets and fats but will eat anything - even stuff that doesn't taste particularly good. I shared that I had prayed for help over and over but the problem seemed to be getting worse. We talked about our belief that overeating is a sin and I had a light bulb moment when I recognized in all my praying I had never asked forgiveness for my sin of overeating!!! DUH! Suffice to say that I spent a great deal of time in prayer and recognized several other things I for which I had never asked forgiveness. You cannot imagine the changes, Blessings and happenings in the past several days the least of which is that I amgetting a handle on my overeating and am NOT craving sweets and fats. These posts make us that love Christ Jesus feel so thankful for all HE does in our lives each and every day.  Many of us feel the same way that you do.  God brought us to this site and Roger's book.  I know Roger is just the vessel that God used to distribute this wonderful way of losing weight and becoming more healthy.  Most important is Roger was willing to be used to make this available for all of us and bring honor and glory to our Lord and Savior.

Carrole, Thank you for sharing. I think the thing that most drew me to pursue more information on the plan and at the website is the humility I felt from Roger. I think he truly believes and cares and is doing what he's been called to for all of us. I shared with a couple friends today how fortunate it is there is a place like this that actually has a prayer BB. How often to you find that on the internet?!
