Hi: just wanted to say Hi. to everyone...what a great community this is.  I started LDL three weeks ago.
I just received my red book and wanted to say that I lost 10 pounds even before the book arrived.
Just reading the message boards and receipes was enough to get me a good start.
I am 68 year old women with diabets, high blood pressure, high cholestral, and indigestion.
Since been on LDL, I have reduced my Insulin from 50 units a day to 20 and my blood pressure
is the best its been in years and I do not take any pills for my indigestion.
This is the best I have felt in a very long time and have tons of energy that I have not haved for years.

thank you

Hi, Renobabe! Welcome to the LDL family!  I'm 69 years old.  I started LDL in 2007 and I've lost 55+ pounds.  I'm working on the rest (about 20-25) slowly but surely.  I love LDL and can't imagine not eating this way. My sister has lost over 100 pounds on LDL and she is totally off all diabetes medicine and all GERD medicine.

It looks like you've made a good start on LDL.  Congratulations!!!  This is a wonderful way of life. We're glad to have you with us. If, as your name suggests, you live in Reno, I have a grandson who goes to the University of Nevada at Reno.  Small world!!
