I discovered that if you will go to the home page of the message board, scroll all the way down and click on "read last 10 messages posted" or something like that - I can't remember exact wording.  Anyway, says something about last ten messages.  If you click on that, you can read the messages in their entirety without having to scroll to the right and left.
