YOU are doing great, I also am just starting and a big venison (defated) stew with all veggies imaginable, alternate with the bean and chili soups, (taco seasoning ) in them also good in ground chicken.
I invested in a very high powered blender years ago which grinds all seeds to a pulver stage in my smoothies, raspberries are so good and good for you.  I have also found fruit too sweet especially in evening smoothies.  Your lemon idea is great.  I have a citris juicer.  had forgotten about the grapefruit at breakfast as that is  my love.  Will also add to my breakfast smoothies, all the time.  Great thinking.
For two years my hubby took raw veggie salads and dressing for lunch on the job.  He excited everyone around how much he liked them.  All and any veggies, zucchini, celery, tomatoes, cucumbers, grated cabbage, radishes, the large white ones are beautiful grated in cusinart shredded.  I would make a large large bowl each morning and that was all we ate for lunch and for dinner.  Now I have dentures and discovered LDL and with so many softer choices I am rejoicing.  Will put all other diet ideas aside,  hard sometimes not to fall back into old tricks, even though I thought them very good this is a culmination of th best.  Bless you caryol

When I read your menus for the day, I think next to what I eat, you eat so little.  Do you stay full on what you eat?  You must be losing quite quickly.

I noticed that you went to a CBN dinner.  Do you watch their program everyday?  I have watched CBN every day for almost 40 years,  I get so much out of the 700 club.

My husband takes a salad for lunch everyday to work along with what ever I make him.  I am not much of a veggie eater so I only eat salads occasionally.  I have always been a big meat eater and I still eat alot of meat only now it is very lean meat.  I love eating all the fruit and my favorite to eat whole is raspberries but not in smoothies.  I love the sour smoothies they are the ones that really satisfy me.

I could maybe eat more but I am not hungry.  This week has been a busy week so I haven't had time to make the many things I generally do.  I have lost more weight this week then normal but I just haven't really been hungry or felt much like eating alot.  I have been doing a cleansing tea for a bit and I am thinking that is what is making me lose weight more regularly each week rather then maintaining some weeks.  I have been averaging 1 to 2 lbs a week except this week I dropped 4 lbs but we will see if I am still down by my weigh in on Monday for the loose caboose race.  My goal was to be down 100 lbs by the time I hit one year.  I am within 2 lbs of that now so should be beyond my goal by Nov 5th.

I noticed you haven't been eating much lately.  I go through times when I'm not very hungry also.  This past week and weekend haven't been one of them though.  I am so happy you are going to make your goal!  You have been so dedicated and you are such an inspiration!

I took a pork loin roast today and made it like a blackened prime rib.  I cooked onion in the pan and when it was done I added chicken broth and ran it thru the blender and made gravy.  It was really delicious with all the garlic and rosemary spices.

Saturday:

B:  Plums
L:  Green salad
    Pork loin roast w/ gravy
D:  Roasted garlic butternut soup
    Very cherry berry pie

This really is a nice feeling to not have food as my first priorty.  Before starting LDL I wouldn't have been able to tell you if I was hungry or not.  Since food isn't all that important to me anymore if I am not hungry it is nice not to feel like I have to play catch up if I missed a meal.

How wonderful that food isn't a priority to you now and that you have lost almost a 100 pounds.  I wish that food wasn't such a priority in my life.  That would be a dream come true,  I am okay during the day but the evening is very difficult for me.

I was always a night eater before LDL but if I make sure and eat enough for lunch and eat my dinner by 5 or 6 I have been able to stop that.  I am one of those nervous eaters so if I am having a hard day I still have to be disciplined not to eat everything in sight.  I have been able to so far distract myself with other things.  For me though I have so much weight still to lose that I have to stay focused to be able to get to my final goal.

I saw on another post you were talking about smoothies.  If you freeze the bananas and use them your smoothies with me nice a creamy just like if you used yogurt.  You will love your new Ninja in making ice cream too.
I am glad you are back trying LDL again I know for a fact this is the easiest way of eating I have ever found in losing weight and getting healthy.  The longest I ever stayed on a diet was almost a year on low carb but at the end I was having trouble with my health.

Wendy, you have done so well.  What did you add to the gravy for thickening?  It sounds so delicious. LDL is food freedom.  When we are hungry, we can eat until satisfied.  That was a new concept for me, but sooo easy.  It is my woe for life.  I love it.  I usually eat a lot of LDL foods, but some days, not very hungry.  I had a feast last night and at noon today.  Country Girl cooked-- grilled porterhouse steaks, squash medley, corn, black beans, and spicy tomatoes, fried cabbage, BP for guys, sauteed apples for us, berry pie and ice cream  for the guys.  It was delicious.  Today, I had Neets meat loaf, baked steak (Mushroom gravy),(I put 4 pieces in without coating with flour) green beans, oven roasted squash, Bill's mashed potatoes,  regular mashed potatoes, and a large salad.  I still have grape tomatoes on the vines--they are sooo good.  We enjoyed the foods. Country girl took a meat loaf home and I still half of one left.  I tripled the recipe. It is delicious.  I will have peach icecream for evening if I get hungry.  I have some frozen and then bought some on sale.  It sounds delicious.  :D  JF

Your meals sound wonderful.  I also love that I can have seconds if I want them or just eat a larger helping.  I took the dripping (scraping bottom)with the cooked onion and added chicken broth and blended until it was creamy.  It could be thickened with corn starch but since we were not having our fake potatoes I didn't bother we just put it over the meat.  Blending it makes it a little thick anyway.

I love pinto beans!  Even when recipes call for red beans I always add pinto beans to it.  When we go out and eat at Cracker Barrel they have the best Pinto bean side dish.  It has ham in it so I pick around it.
I saw where you mentioned not eating as much as you have been.  That is the way of other diets and we have all found that it doesn't work.  It causes our bodies to think we are going to starve it and we quit losing weight.  Just keep eating like you have been and you will see the weight coming off.  In the beginning I ate more then I do now but my body adjusted itself so I never felt deprived of food.
So glad you have joined all of us, it is such a nice family.
