Little Mary sorry to hear about Little Harrison
my mother (68) has crohns - but now is showing sign of other bad things- rectal bleeding, anemia and has to go for a colonoscopy too.
we too are hoping for nothing serious. but i am afraid cancer runs heavily in our family.... we shall see, must always keep a positive outlook

Little Mary,
Very good news about your Mother and the delicious choices fo your Thanksgiving dinner. I'll pray for Harrison too - I have to have colonoscopies every two years for my ulcerative colitis, so know what he'll be going thru. The prep is the worst, the procedure is bearable, the sleep afterwards is renewing. I pray Harrison doesn't have too many problems and the docs can help him. Prayers on the wings of angels winging your way sweetie.

Oh, Mary, so sorry about Harrison. I'll be praying for him. Glad your mom is doing well.
Renee, sorry about your mom too.
Lord, I ask you to give wisdom to the doctors caring for these who are having physical problems. Help each to heal -- and thank You that You are the Great Physician. We put our trust in you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!

Mary,
So sorry to hear about Harrison. I am praying for your family for God's healing and strength.
I made three of your recipes for Thanksgiving and everybody loved them...Wild Rice (black kind), sweet dumplings made like sweet potatoes, and the spiced cranberries. SO GOOOOOOOD!
Sending love,
Debbie

Mary, So sorry about Harrison, but glad you're at a place where his problem will be found and taken care of. Glad your mom is doing better. Renee, hope your mother's problem is not too serious and can be helped in a timely manner. I thought Crick's prayer was wonderful. It is my heart's desire as well. Where two or three come together then my storehouse will be opened. Love and prayers, JF

Oh, Mary, that is odd. Will pray for Ben too. We have a good friend with Crohn's disease and the pills are very expensive like that too.

Re: Little Mary "Checking In"
Hi Mary,
I've had UC for over 20 yrs now and have been mostly in remission for over 12 yrs. Each person who has UC is different - Ben may end up having different diet concerns than Harrison - UC is strange that way. I have two co-workers with UC and we all have to watch different food groups. Onions, garlic, spicy foods, I can eat, they can't . . . fiber kills me but doesn't bother them. BUT, the one constant BAD food is SUGAR. LDL has helped my UC tremendously. My doc told me my colonoscopy was the best he'd seen for me in years after I'd been eating the LDL way. That's interesting about the Nutrient Density too. I love turnip greens but have to watch how often I eat them. Oh, and the lettuces bother me too. But sugar is the worst thing for UC.
My prayers are with you on this new health journey with them. Yes, the meds are $$$ and they have to be on them for Life.
