Our weather has changed and I saw that we'll have highs in the 70s during the next week.  Our Christmases are usually on the warm side.  One a few years ago had snow.  That was the only time I ever remember that happening and it was quite a fun surprise to everyone.

We had sleet yesterday and last night.  Today by 10 it was all melted and raining.  One of our radio DJ's said, "Who knew rain and 50 could feel so good!"  I just laughed in the car and said, "Preach it!"

Blessed and loved,

Oh Renee,  How can you take it?  I dont mind it -33 cause I stay in the house. But inside it is a cozy 72. I just cant imagine it that chilly inside. Do you wear several layers of clothes?  Anyhow where do you live.    Judie

no i don't wear extra cloths, just my Pj's around the house.  and i sleep in the (you know what LOL), it is so much more comfy.
I am in NC, today is kinda warm at 40 degrees.  I cant stand the heat, at work i in the winter i wear short sleeves or tanks, as people he think 72 is cold
and turn the heat up.
the only problem is my African violets are in the kitchen garden window- they are not doing so well this year so i may have to take them all to work for winter
it is colder in the kitchen as this is where i have the doggy door.
they keep me warm at night, Babie Girl curls up next to me and Mr Martie on his pillow at my feet.

Renee, you freeze me.  We have gas logs that are going all the time in our family room.  It is so cozy.  Our home stays 70-72 all over.  I don't like being cold.  Again, when I was a kid, our house was heated by a warm morning heater.  We stayed warm in the room where it was, but the rest of the house was cold.  We slept with many quilts. We turn the furnace down now at night.  I like to sleep with a sheet and light quilt over us.  Our kids usually come in our home, and the first thing they do is turn the logs off, and check the thermostat.  They like it cooler.  Each his own.   JF

Hit 74 again here. Felt almost hot at noon going out for salad at lunch without even a jacket.
We are spoiled. As picture-pretty as snow is, I can do without the pipe-bustin' cold

Well, we are still in the 30's here,  however, it has been snowing steadily for the past 12 hours.  We have about 8 inches on the ground.  The trees and shrubs are so pretty with their snow-laden branches.  I very carefully made my way to work this morning (most of the streets are not all the way cleared yet) and am now sitting at my desk just watching the snow fall.  Wondering if I will make it home this evening!  We will definitely have a white Christmas this year.  Yea - I love it!

We just had 2 days of snow and ended up with around 7 inch.  It is 15 degrees and everything is white, crisp and beautiful.

Looks like our Christmas will be blessed with much needed rain! It was 74 yesterday and 66 today before a cool front hit. Can't really call it a cold front considering the frigid temps everyone else is enduring.

I just got back to Florida after spending a week in Wisconsin.  They had a foot and a half of snow!  I pulled on my hiking boots and put on my old ski jacket (from my skiing days in the early 1970's) and went out for a waddle around the house!  It was so much fun--I really needed snowshoes.

Everyday my husband and I went for a walk--usually in the teens just to remind us why we love Florida.  We also had to go to town everyday for something that my mom forgot to purchase and my husband had fun preheating the car, his seat and steering wheel.  We are whimps!

The house temp is set at 70 and I wear a sweater.

Know how you feel. Comfortable indoor temp for me is around 77.
Froze my buns going back to Ohio for a visit in the winter and they set the temp in the house at 68.
Swear I could see my breath indoors.
