Snoopy is back in the house

Post by Sneaky Snoopy »

I think the last time that I was on the boards was in October.  It has been a long stressful time.  With Highs and lows.  I have eaten food when I was stressed and then felt bad.  I found that I could do very well for breakfast and lunch but when dinner came around it was a food frenzy.  I know that I just have to get focused and stick to what I know is healthy for me and that is LDL.  Last night was the first test.  I went out to dinner with the in-laws at a fish restaurant.  The bread basket came around and I passed it by.  My mother-in-law personally passed me the bread basket again.  I in turn held it for a few seconds and passed it back to the other side of the table with out taking any.  This happened one more time.  I am very proud of my self that I didn't take and eat any of the bread.  And to tell you the truth, I didn't miss eating it.  I had the soup and salmon for dinner and left the rice on my plate.  This morning New Year's Day, I had fruit for breakfast and for lunch, Sandwiches was offered.  I had the sliced turkey, a slice of cheese and 4 cuties.  100% no bread.
I am glad to be back on the boards and look forward to reading your posts.  I have found I feel better when I can talk about things to people who are there with me.  Thanks.
Happy New Year to the Healthier LDLer.

So happy to have you back in the LDL fold.  I'm looking forward to your progress and the banter between you and your mom.  I think of you each time I close my bag of corn thins with your handpainted clothes pin I received at our convention.
