I am back!

Post by yoyodieter »

I honestly live up to my own profile name " yoyodieter" Up and down. Was down to 145 and loving it doing LDL and then fell of the wagon completely. The weight packed on and felt horrible, eating out of sheer frustration. Thirty pounds later and clothes that don't fit I decided once again to get my act together. Thanks to Roger Troy's email- notifying me of the changes in the Red Book. I pulled it off the shelf and got going. LDL makes total sense- proved it to myself year ago- but excuses are easy to make. Will let this be the final attempt to better my health and prevent all the metabolic illnesses I can prevent by following LDL.

Welcome back YoYo. Just make up your mind this is how you are going to eat the rest of your life. Who needs all that processed junk food when you can have all the healthy stuff? Think of the processed food as Meth and you dare not eat anything that will do your body harm and cause an addiction! Read the journals and notes from those like Joyful Friend and Crickadoodle who made goal months ago (even year) and still are happy doing LDL and hang out on the boards to encourage. That can be you too when you make goal again!

Hi yoyodieter

Alot of us could say the same thing, but the important thing is you are back and ready to start feeling good again knowing you will have the support of this board as you go.  I am back "third times the charm" and feeling so much better.  I know you will do great as you know the benefits of eating healthy.  Have a great week  :D

I too reached goal in January 2010 and it's now a year later and I am still "lovin LDL" as Julie would say. But I have not been on the boards as much as I used to -- just lazy.  I know for a fact that this way of eating is easy; knowing that I can eat until full while losing weight. The old adage "If at first you don't succeed try, try again" is one that all of us can use.  This is what you are doing and it will be worth the effort.

Hey everyone...I am back too...and yes, thanks to the email I received from Roger.  Life has been so hectic and stressful and I got off plan in November.  I set myself a goal to start back after the holidays and my birthday last week.  I got on the scale, expecting the worst, maybe being even heavier than when I started last June..but it wasn't quite as bad as I feared.  I have missed you all and I have been catching up on the boards as fast as I can.  It is so nice to see old friends and great to see new faces.  The successes that have happened are so inspiring and the recipes are calling my name.  Thank you everyone for showing such support to each other.  I'm home again..    :)  Lisa

Oh Ollie...I have missed you too!  It broke my heart to read about Ron...you must miss him so much.  I am amazed at how positive and encouraging you are to others...you are so special.  I can't believe I let myself be off the boards and away from you all for so long.  With all of your help, I will succeed this time.  hugs...
