The glasses turn Snoopy into Joe Cool.  I think you need a pair of my glasses now that you have better eyes.  Then we can go shopping in style.

Have to ask.  Clown Lady and Sneaky Snoopy are you related or do you know each other?  I love to read the banter between you two.

Done lurking...just reading the wonderful support post to Clown Lady makes me want to come back as well.  I rediscovered yogurt as a comfort food  :sad:this past year which I never liked. I'm thinking it was a comfort food as it was one of the few things my Dad was able to try to eat during his final months before the feeding tube. Perhaps a connection to my Dad.. I don't know but now I like yogurt and if I remember correctly it's not an LDL friendly food. I've been eating 4 - 6 oz each day for over a year and not nearly enough fruit or smoothies. I purchased a bullet but think I must have gotten the only lemon ever produced since everyone else things its' wonderful. I find it turns everything into absolute mush no matter how gently I try to stop and start or which blade I use. Suppose I'll have to dig out the big old blender again. I still have frozen grapes in the freezer so that's a plus.  Rambling now.  God Bless you all for still being here. EL :rose: *hug*

My bullet was a lemon also.  When I plug it in it just runs  I also was not happy with it when it did work properly.  It either mushed it to much or wouldn't chopped it coarse enough.
I think I will try the ninja

I got a Ninja for Christmas from my Eddie...I do love it but I need more ideas how to use it than just "ice cream" and smoothies.  Mine didn't come with the recipe book it said was supposed to be in it.  I'm sure when I surf the boards here more I will get ideas...  Lisa

Welcome back Lisa.
Ninjas make great smoothies. I also use mine to blenderize beans for pizza soup and other creamy soups.

It's been like a family reunion lately and I love it! Wish I could remember just how many faces I've seen recently that were part of our LDL family in 2009/2010 but I know it's been wonderful hearing from them again.  Welcome back to the family Lisa!

It sure would be nice if everyone could come back and be one big happy family again.  It was so easy to stay focused on LDL with all the support group we had and the new one we have now.

It's probably the time of the year.  I think everyone is refocusing their efforts on taking good care of themselves and eating right.  What better way to eat than LDL?  This way works and you know it!

I'm loving that I'm hearing of new people all the time who are finding success with LDL in my area.  Even some people who had told me that it didn't work for them end up trying again and then have success and love it.  I love hearing of these successes!  Happy New Year, everyone!

Welcome to LDL, Oldies and Newbies.  I've missed you.!!! It's the best way to eat for health and weight loss.  Like you, Crick, I'm hearing of successes in my area.  Today, a couple ladies told me they had just gotten the book.  A guy who I purchased the book for  a year last October has now started--His whole family--Mother, In-laws, Aunt  They are finding success.  That surely pleases me.  I know it works.  Last night I went to the Senior Meal.  The lady I sat next to asked me if I was still on my diet.  I enjoyed telling her that it was not a diet, but a way of eating for life.  So many people lose, but then regain.  With this WOE, when one gets to goal can experiment with different foods, but for me, I have had no desire for the white sugar products.  I've never been as satisfied  with food as I am with LDL foods.  The recipes in the book and on line are terrific.  The encouragement  from the boards also help motivate.   JF

I had a phone call last night from someone who has just started LDL. Her husband is on it too. We talked for 2 hrs. I think she is going to be a success on this WOE. She certainly is excited about LDL and willing to change old habits in order to lose the weight.

I also got a message through facebook from someone else who is just starting LDL with her husband. She was asking for hints on how to succeed on LDL.

I've said it before and I'll say it again....Thank you Lord and Roger Troy for showing us this wonderful way to eat and lose weight and be healthy.

Many blessings on this snowy morning!!
