I'm glad that you are getting some of the phone calls, Ollie.  My phone stays hot as well.  They think I have some secrets.  I do--it's buy the book, and Follow the plan---EAT, EAT, EAT.  It is a hard concept for some to grasp.  It was easy for me, because I had been going hungry most of my life to stay size 16.  It is like being out of bondage.  Food now has no control over me.  A friend came up to me at church and asked what my secret was, my daughter was standing there, and she said, "Do you want to stay here all day."  My granddaughter, laughed and agreed.  My class at Jackson got cancelled  because of the weather.  We did it a couple days before, so no food had been prepared.  I fixed an omelet yesterday.  My DH had been to Rotary breakfast, and when he saw my food, he said it looked like a picture  from a food TV show, and  he knew it was so much better than what he had had.  I use one egg with two egg whites.  Green peppers, mushrooms, salsa and a little FF cheese make it delicious. I use the yolk in my homemade pudding.(only a once in a while treat) .  A lot of people are ready for 2011 to be their year for better health and weight loss.  It was a relief for me not to have to make a New Year Resolution, other than keep on LDL.  It works, so why tinker with a good thing.  2010 was good for me, and 2011 will be Country Girl's year along with many on the boards.   :)  JF

I am loaning out my book to the secretary at the Choctaw Field House.  She is having problems and I think LDL is what she needs.  As soon as I can I am going to buy some extra books to pass to those who are so very obese.  I went to my Brothers 50th ann. and meet the rest of the family and all of them are obese.  I am going to send books to them.  My brother was given up for adoption and he found uss 10 years ago and I have finally meet all of his kids  8 in all.

Oh, Donna, to find a long lost brother must have been amazing.  I'll bet that is an awesome story in itself.

I too feel the need to invest in a stack of books to keep on hand for when someone asks.
Making the decision to order one is sometimes just the excuse some people need to put off "doing it" so having the book ready to hand to them may be the very thing that saves them from themselves.
