Thanks Roger,
I hope it dose help others when they don't want to say they have eating restrictions or explain why they want to leave unhealthy foods alone.  I also have to say that these boards and the net work of people are a key part of LDL.  This sets this WOE far apart from others.  You can do a whole lot more when you have the support of many.

One carrot standing alone will fall, but many carrots standing together with some Humus  *woot* in between will stand strong.        This made me giggle.  *woot*   *woot*

Thank you, Roger!  I agree with Sneaky Snoopy.  These boards and the people on them have really helped me and given me ideas for this new woe.  It is a learning/growing process and a retraining of mainly habits but also of the mind and ones thinking.  I can't thank you and everyone on these boards enough.  I am so thankful for you.  *love*

Sneaky Snoopy, you are better than me!  I have to work on this one.  You helped by showing me what you are doing with eating out and with others.  So far, when I eat out, I eat before I leave and already know what I will eat before I get to the restaurant or someones home.  I also focus more on whomever I am with than my food and make it more social than about eating.  My DH can take one bite of something and go on but for me that can set me off on eating the whole thing!  However, I can say I saw this same trait in me during the holidays and never thought that would happen.  :)

Thanks everyone! I soooo appreciate the support.
The closer I get to the 50lbs off, the more people notice and comment.
Talked to several prospects today.
New year brings out the best of intentions. We were right that more would join in January.
Hopefully some I have talked to will take a ride on the train!

Great job spreading the word, Linda!  I bet everyone who sees you and the success you have achieved is intrigued!  Interestingly, when I give an overview of the plan, the listeners always want to focus on what they would have to give up.  No dairy!  No grain!!  OMG!  I could never do that!!!  It is so funny how people want the easy answer, e.g.  "Eat all you want, whenever you want, any foods, anytime of day, whatever your heart desires."  Well, if they'd only give LDL a month they would find that this plan is the closest we can eat to that fantasy and still discard weight.  I truly only want LDL foods because they make me feel so good and healthy, and they facilitate my weight goals.  I never want that drugged with food feeling ever again.  This is food freedom!  Pam

Weighed in today...1 month. I lost 16.8 pounds and DH lost 2.8 pounds. We have been eating till we were full and doing our best to only eat LDL foods (difficulty around the holidays). Keeping an online food journal has helped me quite a bit and will suggest that to DH. For me, weighing monthly is placing my focus on eating correctly and not weight loss (which will keep coming off and stay off  *love*).Mwah everyone and thank you for your support/knowledge/encouraging words. I plan on checking back in with the Pink Caboose in 1 more month.
