Knighte- Looking at your dinner Subway.  Do you know that they will make any of their sandwiches into a salad.  Instead of the bread you get a heaping plate of lettuce, then they add the meat from a sandwich (LDLers will not want cheese), and all the toppings you choose.  It makes a great on the road meal in a pinch and is much better than many other choices.  Enjoy!  Pam

Pam, the salad is what I get when I eat at Subway, but I always get it with chicken and have them to double the meat for only $1 more!! Very filling. I like to get the Southwest Chipolte Sauce for my dressing (in a small container and I dip my fork in it). Delicious that way and it gives the salad a "little kick".

knighte, i think i would not have chosen the chocolate ice cream. There are so many delicious recipes on here for fruit smoothies to take the place of that ice cream. Maybe next time you'll consider having fruit or a smoothie instead of the ice cream.

Unless of course your chocolate ice cream is really frozen bananas with dark chocolate!

Yum that sounds good, but alas  bananas stall me out and I sure would over do that LDL ice cream for sure.

I will indulge in the thought only and enjoy my loose clothes because chocolate ice cream was my big downfall.
I gained soooo much weight eating ice cream because I just couldn't stop eating it.
I couldn't even stop when I ate the whole container....just go out and buy more!  :bomb:  *evil*  *scyth*

B- grapefruit
L- variation of a veggie LDL pizza with the buffalo style crust
D- blackberry/strawberry/banana smoothie

snacks: pm- veggie LDL pizza
evening- popcorn, maybe frozen grapes later

The blackberry smoothie is delicious Linda. We froze all the fruit in the fall/late summer when it was in season and just add water. Very yummy and Ollie is correct...a much better treat than chocolate ice cream.
