One month weigh-in success

Post by JerrieH »

I am so excited.  I had my one-month weigh-in today (and I didn't weigh for 30 days), and I got on the scales today and I have lost 7 pounds!!!!!  I was just hoping for 5 lbs.  I might have even lost 8 lbs really, because for Valentine's Day my hubby and I went to Red Lobster and I ate fried flounder, tartar sauce, baked potato, ceasar salad and shared a piece of Red Lobsters "Wave" cake with my husband (which was so chocolaty and rich),so I might have even put on a pound with that meal!  I'm so happy with the weight loss.  Thank you God and thank you Roger for LDL.  Jerrie :)

WooHoo, Jerrie!
What a great start to a new, skinnier you!
And to think you shed all that without starving and even enjoying one day this month!

Thank you everyone for you congrats.  Hoping to have another good result this time next month (and I'm not getting on the scale for 30 days), it's kinda hard, but I think it is worth it, so you don't get disappointed along the way, in case you don't lose weight as fast as you would like to).  Thanks again.  Jerrie :)

Wendysgoodnews - your new photo is nice and it really shows you've lost weight since your last photo.  How much weight have you lost since the last photo?  Jerrie  :)

Congratulations Jerrie..I am so happy for you, and amazed that you could resist checking the scale for so long.  I could never do that.

And Wendy, wow!  You are soooo pretty!  You really are such an inspiration to me and alot of others.  Keep on showing us the way!  Lisa

JerrieH,

Great Job!

Ok, so you might have lost a little more if you hadn't splurged at Red Lobster on Valentine's Day but it only comes once a year...not everyday. So, don't be so hard on yourself. You did good by losing 7 pounds even though you ate the chocolate cake but I would try to avoid the green beer this month. ;)

Oops!  Sorry RT, didn't know I posted my first month weight loss in the wrong place.  I haven't really been to the parts of the website you mentioned, so I didn't know to put it there.  I had already read the successes of those who had lost weight in the excerpts in your red book.  I guess I thought the personal weight loss part was for those who have been on LDL a long time and have lost a lot of weight.    Jerrie
