It's good Ollie that WW is finally learning that, like Roger says "all calories are not created equal."  It was also interesting that it pointed out that if you are hungry all the time, you are not eating correctly.  When I had been on WW in the past, I didn't like that the healthy protiens were assigned such high points, and then points would get used up so quickly, by making good protien choices.  I wonder if WW's puts a point value on bananas, or if they also call that free?  Too bad we have to limit bananas to one a day.  They are so good and make smoothies so creamy.  On the chart that showed the amount of fructose in each fruit it showed mangos as being quite high, which was disappointing to me as I love mangos and have been eating them frequently.  Actually I expected bananas to be higher on the list of high fructose fruits, but it was right around there with apples and blueberries and honeydew, and even lower in calories than watermelon and pears, and quite a bit lower in fructose points than mangos!  Jerrie :)

I have never paid attention to the amount of fructose. Since starting LDL, I've eaten whatever fruit I wanted, whenever I wanted including more than 1 banana a day....some days as many as 3 bananas. It didn't stop me from losing all the weight that I wanted to. Like someone else said, everyone's body is different & what is OK for one person, may not be OK for someone else.

I did WW for several years. I could lose the weight on WW by starving but I couldn't maintain it at goal. I've been below goal with LDL for the past 2 months and my LDL goal is 10 lbs less then my WW goal was....in other words, I'm 12 lbs below my old WW goal!!

Thanks for the info Ollie.  Your weight loss is amazing.  You have done so well.  I love bananas and it is nice to know that you were able to eat more than one a day without it stallilng your weight loss.  Jerrie

I am still of the opinion that LDL is far better for you than WW.  Have you ever read the ingredient labels of the WW foods that are sold at their meetings or at the grocery store?  If not, you are in for a big surprise -- full of additives, sugar, and partially hydrogenated oils (soooooo bad for you)  Also, eating by WW guidelines you will still be hungry at the end of the day and worn out measuring and counting points.
