Everyone knows how important exercise is for our bodies but a lot of people have different theories as to when it is the best time to exercise. Some say the morning, some say the afternoon and others just say it doesn't matter as long as you exercise. For the past couple of years my son who's into bodybuilding has been telling me that I need to eat carbs for breakfast (fruit in my case even if I eat eggs), wait two hours and then work out. After the workout, I need to wait one hour before eating lunch with all the carbs I want. After all, that's our biggest meal.
Here's a website that he sent me today that explains everything and why. I hope it helps you to understand as well.
