Blood sugars

Post by audrey »

I just had to write and tell you that I cannot believe the change in my blood sugars. I have been on LDL for about 4 days and I cannot believe my blood sugars!  Yesterday I didn't have to take any of my short acting insulin and I even reduced my long-acting night-time dose.  My blood sugar this am was 61.  That is truly amazing.
Roger, you were right!  I am looking forward to losing this weight and getting off my medication.  Thank you Lord for showing me this new way of life!!
God Bless
Audrey

Hey Carbonite , I will keep you posted.  What type of job do you have?  I am a nurse and I have had so much trouble getting my blood sugars under control.  It is a viciious cycle, you take the insulin to lower the sugars, the sugar drops so you eat to bring it back up toa normal level.  The insulin just makes it impossible to lose weight.  I sure am hoping and praying that I have found the answer.

hi audrey....i'm a nurse also and i loved reading that your blood sugars are stabilizing on ldl...it gives me extra info when talking to diabetics considering switching to an ldl lifestyle ...so i would love to know how your blood sugars continue to be and wether you have any more changes in your medication...i'm a rehab nurse and deal closely with diabetic issues...it really makes sense that eating this way would do wonderful things for diabetics...pasta,bread and white potatoes are literally KILLERS...ldl gives you what you need to not want them...AND i never would have thought i could ever feel this way..not having cravings makes me feel that food no longer controls me and that's a great feeling ..i've seen what uncontrolled diabetes can do...irreversible damage to your body...the ldl lifestyle is another way that God has blessed me and i'm happy to hear that you are also..........niki
