Please keep us in your prayers

Post by graceface66 »

Hi all,
We just found out today that Von will be "permanently" layed off as of Feb 27. We are praying for G-d's will .
                                            G-d bless you all

Oh, Kris - what a heartbreaker.  That is a concern of many, many people.  I'm lifting you & Von up right now.  Neil is holding his breath, too.

Loves, Gwen

Kris,

I will pray for your family as well.  I was laid off last November, I cried for a week straight as I am the main bread winner.  Little did I know that I was supposed to be laid off.  I received a job offer the day after I posted my resume.  I am now working in a job I enjoy with great potential to grow my skill set.  My old job was a dead end, but I was afraid to leave because we relied on my income.  Sometimes the Lord really does work in mysterious ways.

Take heart and know that every end is a new beginning, so start to concentrate on the beginning.

For all who might be looking for employment - that U.S. Census Bureau is hiring for people to help prepare for the 2010 census this year and to help do the census next year - it is only part-time work, but pays anywhere from $10-$14 an hour depending on the position you are hired for.  They are recruiting workers in all areas of the United States:  http://2010.census.gov/2010censusjobs/index.php

I will keep you & your family in my prayers.  Just remember everything happens for a reason.  Hopefully you will find that reason soon.  Keep your head & keep smiling  :)

My prayers are with you, and all families going through this difficult economic time.

Personally work hasn’t been a bed of roses the last few months (hence one reason I haven’t been on too often) - but no matter how “dishearten” I feel - I thank the Lord that I am blessed with a job.

Kris, that is great news!  Praise God - when one door closes, he opens another.  :)
