Judie, heard on the news tonight that International Falls was way below zero tonight.  That is really cold for this time of year.  Here in Nebraska is has been down in the teens lately but warming up some this week.  There is no snow left on the ground but may get some more on Thursday.  I would like to get enough to make a snowman with grandkids, haven't done that yet this year.

Tracy, wanted to stop by and wish you a great day.

Hi Tracy,

Want to wish you a great day.

The weatherman changed our forcast tonight.  Now he says the bad weather may not come until tomorrow.  Before we know it, will be tornado weather.  I don't like spring storms.

Thanks Carrole. We are just suppose to get rain. We have had 60 -70s weather for the last 2 days and its nice, but it will get colder this weekend. I am sooo ready for spring. I've been depressed this week, so maybe nice weather will help me. I don't know.

Hi Tracy,

Sorry to hear the sunshine left.  We have had so many cloudy days this winter.  Seems like 4 days cloudy each week at least and one or two with sunshine.  Hopefully that will change as Spring gets closer.  I hope you will get over being depressed and feel happy again very soon.

I will have to cook tomorrow as we are about out of leftovers.  We have the grandkids tomorrow night so know I won't be doing much cooking then.  I will want to be playing with them and fixing them something good to eat.  We are to have snow tomorrow so maybe we can play out in the snow for awhile.

Have a great day Tracy and God bless.

Hi Tracy,  I hope you had a good Saturday.  Ours was fine.  I fixed lunch today for 4 people but ended up having visitors so it was a little skimpy.  The one time when I didn't fix plenty then visitors show up.

I'm sorry you are going through a stressful time.  I pray this will not last much longer and you can get back to having joy in your life.  Sometimes life throws some big punches, doesn't it?

Have a nice restful Sunday.

Thanks Gwen and Carrole. I didn't have much time yesterday to be on the computer, I barely got what I ate posted. I'm getting ready to go to Church, then later today I gotta work. This is my weekend to work, so I have not had a day off. I work 2 jobs, and my boss on my part time job asked me if I wanted more hours. Someone is quitting and he offered me her hours. I told him no. I work enough. I won't get any rest today. :(
I've had to do alot of prayer and thinking. This all has to do with my step daughter. I did find out that she really did try to kill herself and I saw her for the first time Friday night. She wants to move in with us and I don't know what to do. I don't trust her. She lies all the time. She's on drugs. I love her but I don't trust her. So, I've had a rough week and still don't know what to do. :(

    Breakfast:  Banana, apple
Lunch:  LDL Chili, LDL taco soup (made chili for my dh to take with him, only took small bowl out for me, so I ate a bowl of taco soup too.) I need to go to store and buy lettuce for salads.
Supper:  Smoothie, carrot and celery sticks, popcorn.

Gotta work soon. Don't know what I will eat tonight for supper. I always bring beans and fruit in case I get hungry there. I always want to munch when I'm there. There will be a bunch of non approved LDL foods there tonight, a potluck dinner, so I don't want to be hungry when I go. I'll make a Smoothie and take it along, that'll help.

Hope the potluck went well tonight.

That is a really tough thing you are going through with your stepdaughter.  It is very hard to see loved ones suffering, especially when they are bringing it on themselves with their bad decisions.  We had the same kind of situation with my little brother and it was very tough.  As it turned out, the situation was taken out of your hands.  He made the decision to move away and go ruin his life somewhere else.  I grieve for him and he is constantly in my prayers.  He's still alive, last I heard.

Do you think you could get her into your church for counseling?  Our pastor is a tough, streetwise kind of guy who would jump in with some tough love.  I'm praying for you and your family in this situation, Tracy.

Loves, Gwen

Hang in there Tracy.  I don't have any advise to give you because I have gotten myself into some sticky situations taking in family.  But then sometimes it was right.

I suggest continuing to pray until God lays on your heart the right thing to do.  We will also lift you up in prayer.

Yea, I just don't know what to do. I did let her stay the night Friday night, but I hardly got any sleep. We stayed up and I listened to her tell me about her life for the past 6 months, even the part about slitting her wrists. When I did go to bed, I didn't sleep good cause it makes me nervous her being here. She has stolen checks off her own brother and forged them, I am scared she will steal from us. I don't trust her. But if she really is serious about wanting to change her life, I don't want to turn my back on her and not help her out. My husband said he will let me decide cause he knows how I feel about all this. He thinks just putting a lock on our bedroom door will keep her out when we are at work. I don't think that will keep her out. I don't know if I could get her to go to Church with me. She is not talking to any counselors now. She also has no other family who is talking to her besides us. They don't approve of what she has done and basically has written her off. I don't approve either, but I could never do that. We all make mistakes and sometimes need extra guidance.

I'm gonna end here, I could keep on this topic all night probably. Who knows, maybe it will help me figure out what to do. HaHa I'm tired and gotta work tomorrow. I need to get to bed. Thank you so much for your support and letting me vent.  *hug*
