This has been a very messed day with eating. I woke up not feeling well this morning, so I didn't eat any breakfast. I ate very little lunch, just a few bites of leftover beef stew. Took a nap. When I got up I had to get ready for work, so I made a smoothie, took 2 apples, took some popcorn, had some frozen grapes and edamames thru out a 8 hour timespan. I still don't feel the greatest. I gotta work tomorrow night too.

Another messed up day. Still not feeling well. Ate no breakfast. For lunch I made Brando's Lasagna. Then for supper I made popcorn, smoothie, cabbage and 1 sliver of corned beef. Had to taste it. My dh made it today for him. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Tracy,
Thanks for stopping by my journal.  I have been swamped this past week so haven't been able to give my cents worth to most topics but glad to be back.

Sorry you are not feeling well, hope you feel better tomorrow.

My mil who is 89 has been so sick this week with the flue where you run to the bathroom like 20 times a day.  She has been down for almost a week now.  So been making chicken soup for her along with cream of wheat.  I think she was improved slightly today.  There is a lot of flue out there, makes me want to stay away from stores and restaurants.

Tried making the rutabaga fries today and liked the flavor but couldn't get them crispy so they turned into hard sticks.  I need to cut them a little bigger, put a little more oil on them and maybe a hotter oven.  Definitely going to try them again soon.  We cut the tops of the rutabaga's that have little leaves on them and put them in water til they get approx. 3 inches high and then planting them in potting soil hoping to move them out to the garden later.  We will see what happens.  My dh likes to experiment with plants.

Have a great lovely day on Monday.

Hugs, Carrole

Thanks for stopping by Carrole. No, I'm not better, , and I even called off work today, which was a bad thing to do on a Monday, but I couldn't have went in today. I'll have a mess to sort thru tomorrow. I was up all night going to the bathroom, still this morning too. Been afraid to eat anything. My stomach still hurts.  :'(

I saw one of my sisters last night and she told me she could tell I lost weight. That made me so happy. Besides my dh, no one has told me that. Its always nice to hear someone else tell you that.

I'll post later what or if I eat today. I hope I start to feel better.

Thanks Pat and Cheryl. I haven't ate much today and probably shouldn't have eaten what I did, but I didn't feel like cooking so I ate what was made up. All I've had all day is banana, LDL taco soup and soybeans. Plus plenty of water to drink. My stomach started cramping after I ate, but I have to eat something. I don't like being sick.  :'(
Tomorrow is another day, gotta get over this soon. I'm tired, will be going to bed soon. Hope for a better day tomorrow.

*hug*, Tracy

Hi Carrole. Good to hear from you.  :) I am feeling better, my stomach is alot better from what it was. I need to go shopping to buy more food, I am running out of stuff. haha.

I had a strange dream last night, I woke myself up crying. All I can remember is I was hugging my son and crying and there was a cop at my house taking me to jail. haha I have a bad headache this morning though. Probably from crying. I don't like dreams like that. I have no idea what it means. haha

Have a good day.

     Breakfast:  Scrambled egg, smoothie

Supper:  (not so good, at party, nothing to eat.) 1/2 BBQ hamburger, 1 tbsp dirty rice, (didn't want any, but hostess made me try it), 1 tbsp dip (all I know what was in it was cream cheese and sausage, but I think there were rotel tomatoes in it too), 2 tositos chips.
