Welcome Entnurse! It is great to have you here! We are all here to learn how to eat properly for the rest of our lives and enjoy it at the same time! You will find many people who love God and genuinely care about you and your success with ldl. There are so many helpful tips and you will begin to also make friendships here. It's nice to read about everyone's successes and even when we have failures, to be able to pick each other up and help each other to walk again!
Hope to talk to you and hear about your successes in the future!

God bless,
Tina

Welcome, ENTNURSE!!

One of the big reasons I decided to try LDL was because I wanted to be healthier.  But all the fringe benefits were amazing...weight loss, renewed energy, less stress, emotional stability...wonderful!  We are so glad you're here and I pray that you will find great success with this lifestyle.

Funny you mentioned emotional stability, Pat, because ever since I started LDL almost 2 weeks ago, my son mentioned to me the other day that he's noticed I seem to be happier and laughing more these days. I know it's definitely because of LDL.  And the only time I feel like I'm ever on a "diet" is when I think about eating something I know I shouldn't (cake, or bread), which is very seldom really.  Yesterday I gave in out of curiosity over this Lemon Blossom cake.  I wanted to know how it tasted so I bought it, but only had a very very thin slice of it.  I swear!  That was my only downfall for the day. It tasted delicious, but rather too sweet (must be because of all the fresh fruits I've been eating) and I DID NOT think about seconds at all.

Entnurse, you will find all the support and encouragement you need in this message boards.  Welcome to LDL!

When you are doing something positive and good for yourself, your emotional health is bolstered.  LDL is definately good for you.
