LDL without the book! Coming soon: LDL with the book!

Post by julie409 »

I have been following LDL for one week with the kindness and support of all you wonderful people on the boards.  *love*
I have already lost 6 lbs - while being clueless but with direction and input from the boards and with the info in the First article.

(Roger, if you are out there, I know you do not wish for us to thank you but THANK YOU for being a divining rod and pointing us in the right direction. See, I did read the book!) I am so grateful to have seen that article and to have been given the grace and strength to try this "one more thing" to see if it could work. And without the community, I don't think I would have done as well.

So now I have the book and I can see there are some nuances that I need to follow. I cannot wait to see what the next  week brings in terms of good health, now that I know what I am doing - sort of. (Yes, I am aware that I am supposed to stay off the scales - cant help it - it gets me jazzed

Stay tuned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoooo Hooooo!!!

I started two weeks ago and am very happy with this eating plan.  I've never followed any of the other diet plans out there because they all seemed complicated and too restrictive...too many things to remember.  LDL works for me and it will also for the two of you.  Like you, I first read it in the magazine (FIRST) then bought the book.  Before the book arrived, I tried doing it based on what I read in the magazine but once I got the book I did so much more better actually following the plan.  Though I haven't weighed myself ( I don't have a scale), I am no longer having to suck in my stomach when I zip up my pants and my shirts are no longer clinging to me.  And the only exercise I do is my daily morning 30 minutes walk from the bus terminal to the office.

There are a lot of people here on the message boards who are always very helpful and offer much encouragement.  If you read the other posts  you might discover some helpful tips or clarification about LDL in case you have questions about something (as we all do).  Do keep us posted on your success Julie. Posting success stories offer encouragement to other people.
