My story

Post by sheila4724 »

Hello all.  I have been doing LDL for about a month now.  I have strayed a little, nothing serious, mostly because of being a newbie and lack of planning, but back on the wagon ASAP.  I have lost 13 pounds.  I have dropped my blood pressure dramatically and usually do not even have to take my medication, but I do continue to monitor my BP and take my medication if I need it because it is my health we are talking about here.  My doctor said as long as I monitor it, I am fine.  Before I found LDL I was searching for a natural diuretic and LDL is the diuretic. No more swelling in my legs or face. And get this, I forgot my deodorant one day, and I live in the middle of Florida, and I did not even smell bad.  That really threw me.  My neighbor told me that if I lose any more weight they would not recognize me.  They just left for five weeks.  I guess I will have to reintroduce myself when they get back!  :D

This whole lifestyle change has amazed me, and I thank GOD ever day for pointing me in this direction.  Fresh foods and no preservatives, the way God intended.  Thank you Roger for telling us your story and bringing it to us.

Many blessings,
Sheila

I love to read about others weight loss! It makes me feel great to know that people can loss weight on a plan that's so wonderful! I wasn't going to weigh myself for the first month, but I broke my rule today and have lost 5.5 pounds in five days! That has to be the easiest five pounds I've ever lost!
I look froward to hearing how everyone is doing, as I actually feel like I'm part of a community that actually cares!

Hi Sheila,

Thank you for sharing your great accomplishments.  It really means so much to all of us especially those that started around the same time. The support and inspiration we give to each other is a great and necessary part of the LDL plan.

Losing 13 lbs is really wonderful. And I can really relate to the deodorant thing.  I was halfway down the street on my way to work when I realized I had forgotten to brush my teeth!  Before LDL, I couldn't wait to brush when I got up in the morning. And I chewed gum ALLLLLL day - now, not so much! I guess all the fruit makes us sweeter (smelling)  :D

Losing the meds---PRICELESS!
