Prayers for a close friend with breast cancer

I just found out that a very close friend of mine has been diagnosed with breast cancer and has to undergo a bilateral masectomy in a two weeks.    I am frightened for her, her husband, and her teenage daughter who saw a friend's mom lose a battle to breast cancer earlier this year.    Please pray for her recovery.   believe that this community will make a difference.   Her name is Kathy, she is 53, and she lives in Phoenix.

Since it makes me sad that there have been zero replies to this, I will reply myself.  Every morning and every night I say a prayer for my friend Kathy.  I have spoken to her this week and her spirits are amazing.  She says she knows it is because there are so many people out there praying for her.

I will be praying for your friend and her family.  About a month and a half ago, I had a mammogram that showed something.  Further testing revealed that it was tissue and I was told not to worry, but to return for my annual mammogram.  It was a very scary time for me as I had went almost 6 years without a mammogram.

Dear TRock,  I am sorry I did not post a reply, but I have been praying for your friend Kathy. I have been praying for a miraculous healing.  I have prayed for peace, comfort, and strength for both of you. Speak God's Word..."By Jesus stripes, Kathy is healed..."  I have been standing on this scripture, "...Kathy will live and not die and declare the wondrous works of the Lord"...  Continue to pray believing and expecting.  The Word tell us, when we pray according to "His" will, we have the assurance "He " hears our prayers and answers them. Healing... IS... the will of God.  BE Strong...Have Faith...Believe...And Praise and Thank  "Him" in advance for answered prayers.  When we are weak..."He" is strong... There is a wonderful little book ($1.99), "God's Creative Power of Healing", by Charles Capps.  You can purchase it or order it from a Christian book store.  It will strengthen your faith.  You take it like medicine 3X a day. It is a very powerful little book. We need to feed our bodies and souls with the Word of God.  You might want to get one for you and for Kathy and pray the scriptures together and separately.  The Word also tell us ..."When two or more are gathered together in "His" name ..."He" is in our midst..."  Pretty Powerful!!! how did your friend do after her surgery?  My friend is have a mastcaomy tommrow.  I wanted to let you know that I'll pray for your friend and her family and for you too.  Having friends going through this kind of stuff hurts us as well.

Cancer sucks.  It definitely hurts our hearts to see those we love have to deal with it.
Sorry I didn't see this post sooner Tiss.  How is your friend, Kathy?  Saying prayers now.
