Weight Loss

Post by movingup »

I started June 22, 2009 at 265.  Now it's Sept. 2, and I am down to 225.  I am doing this with no effort and it is so easy.  Please, all of you that are new to this don't give up.  You can do this too!  Who doesn't like corn and peas and beans?  Now that the weather is starting to change, I love stew and what better way to include these into your meal plans.  I use fat free refried beans to make the stew thicker.  I know that you have heard this a thousand times, but if I can do this so can you.  So what are you waiting for?  Get the book and start your way to a healthy new you.

Movingup, Just think about the health benefits from the vegetables and fruits.  I started in June, and I have dropped almost twenty lbs without effort.  Yesterday and today have been trying for me.  I went to a ladies' potluck at church.  There was a rice casserole with water chestnuts-I took some and it was absolutely delicious.  I also took a piece of tomato pie-it had some cheese.  I left the crust.  I took for my dish a large bowl of watermelon and a plate of orange slices, cherries, grapes, and cantaloupe.  There were all kind of desserts that didn't tempt me.  Today I was the speaker for a local retired teacher's group.  I spoke about Appalachia. We were served a delicious meal of chicken breast, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, brownie with home-made ice cream.  I only ate the chicken and beans.  Wasn't tempted with the potatoes and dessert.  On the way home, I ate a banana that I had stuck in my purse.  I LOVE this way of eating.  I'm never hungry.  My clothes are all getting too big.

Moving up - you are having outstanding results. In about 2 1/2 mos you have lost 40 lbs. That's incredible.

So can you tell us your approach to LDL?  What do you typically eat during the day? Are you active during the day? Any tips or suggestions would be most appreciated. I am always trying to find ways to improve my results as are some of my buddies.

Thanks for your post and please let us know more!

Moving UP/Moving Down (I like that) -- great job!  Isn't it so easy??  I keep telling people that this is the easiest weight loss plan.  I love that I'm not grumpy over depriving myself of food I want to eat.  I really don't want to eat any way but how I'm eating.  No cravings really makes it effortless.  Very soon you will be in ONEderland!  We are all rejoicing with you!
