I went to the Dr yesterday for the first time since I started LDL.....they just called and said my cholesterol number was 176 and that I could quit taking my medicine.......also to continue taking my blood pressure medicine 3 times a week but to monitor my reading twice a week for a month and if my numbers stayed good I am to call back with the results and he will probably take me off of them also.........praise the Lord, I have been taking both of these meds for several years...........now I can have grapefruit again! :) .....I can't tell you how much I have missed not being able to eat grapefruit...... all of these good results in 3 months plus losing 31 lbs!
Praise the Lord and many thanks to Roger for giving us this wonderful gift,
Cookie- I am splitting my blood pressure meds (1/2 doses) and look forward to seeing my cholesterol numbers. LDL is so..... good for our bodies! Congratulations. Pam
First of all, CONGRATULATION on 31 pounds lost in just three months -- quite an accomplishment Have you told your doctor about LDL? Does he/she know this is why your cholesterol is down? I know your blood pressure will also improve because my husband, who is also doing LDL, has his high blood pressure almost back to normal after only 2 months.
Cookie, Praise ye the Lord!!! How wonderful!!! It is such a healthy, easy way of eating with great weight loss. I go to the doctor the end of the month; he will be blown away. I am taking my book to show him. He'll have to have one, I'm sure. He could stand to lose some weight. His wife had stomach bypass for weight control. We're all grateful to Roger Troy. Again, congratulations, Forever Friend
Cookie, what great news! "They" always say that once you are on blood pressure medicine the doctor never takes you off it. Well, that goes to show you what "they" know. My husband so wants to be off those meds too. He even stopped taking them, until I found out and encouraged him to continue until his doctor takes him off. He is now on LDL and I'm believing as he loses weight and eats healthy, he'll get to be off those meds too.
This is MONDO FABULOSO!!!!!! Congratulations hon!! I know you must be completely thrilled to be coming off of meds! I will pray that the blood pressure meds are soon to follow. YOU GO GIRL!!! *HUGS*

Cookie Good for you. Getting off the meds will also make your body feel better. LDL ROCK'S I don't go back until nov and I hope I can maybe get off some meds also. CL
Wow! what a great report from the DR Cookie! Way to go. And it sounds like it only gets better from here! Make sure you let your Doctor know as that will help him spread the word. Lots of people could benefit from this WOE.
