3 months eating this way... and I lost....
44 POUNDS!!!!
It actually feels effortless...
I can be in front of an entire table to fried food, fatty foods, sweets, chips, dips... all the bad stuff... AND NOT WANT ONE SINGLE THING!!! I crave fruits and veggies ALL THE TIME!!!
I have tried diet after diet for the past 11 years... and I do great for the first 3 weeks... then start "cheating" and then... completely go back to my old way of eating...
I've tried WW, and the 3 apple a day plan... and the cabbage soup diet... and this and that... to no avail...
This WAY OF EATING ( sooo not a diet) is EXACTLY what my body needs...
I used to have cankles instead of ankles... well, no more... my feet don't swell at all anymore...
My blood pressure has dropped 10 points...
All my shoes fit now... I am down 2 sizes... I have alot more to go... but it sooo doable! My mother had the gastric bypass surgery 7 years ago... and I just never saw that route as something I wanted for myself... it doesn't change the mind... only the stomach size.. and if it works for others... great... but for me... no way.
Thank you Roget Troy for this gift!!! Thank God!!!

Oh Mama! I am so proud of you, I am sending hugs and flowers your way
LDL really is easy to do, just don't do like I did and let things get you sidetracked.....I just got back on the train this last Thursday and it is like I never left.....after 2 months my Dr took me off my cholesterol medicine.....a great benefit of LDL.....keep up the good work

Sicilian Mama, check in with Gwen, she seems to be the Queen of Pictures. She can resize and post them. After all, we who have not yet reached 44 pounds, need to see what 44 pounds down looks like

Re: 3 months eating this way... and I lost....
SkinnyMama, what an inspiration you are - you've lost even more by now, haven't you?
Years ago, my sister Deborah and I worked together in a bakery that catered weddings and local civic events. Then, we worked in a little sandwich shop that did catering also...that grew into a big business. I did salads and veggies. Deborah did breads and desserts (also wedding cakes), and sometimes helped with the cooking. It was some of the hardest work I've ever done, but was so much fun, too. But, that is where both of us gained most of our weight.
So, if you are losing weight while surrounded by wonderful foods and all those tempting smells, then my hat is off to you, girl!! I know that LDL is a miracle worker, but, gee-whiz girl, I'm so impressed!! GOOD FOR YOU! Keep up the healthy LDL Eating!

Sicilian Mama that is wonderful weight loss, Keep up the great work. :thumbsup
By the way I noticed you don't have a picture on you post, but it looked like you have tried to put one up. I had the same problem, but I got mine to post the other day, and here is how I did it.
But it would not work by clicking on copy then paste, I had to hand write the URL on a piece of paper then type in the URL by hand where it said I have my own picture. Maybe this will work for your also.

I posted my photo to the gallery... then I right clicked on the photo in the gallery... clicked on "Properties"... then copied the URL... went to my profile and posted that URL where it said "I have my own picture", and VOILA`! I have a profile picture!
