Prayer request.

My husband is trying to get an evangelism team started at our church, well actually 2 churches.  Please pray for God to show him in what direction he needs to go and how to get the team started and going strong.  Also, please pray that God gives him the courage to step out in faith and look past his insecurities.  My husband has a calling of evangelism on his life but unfortunately he feels that he is not as knowledgeable in the word as he needs to be to really truly get started.  I, however, know that God will put the words in Pete's mouth that He wants Pete to say.  I have no doubt in my mind that my husband is ready, I just ask that you join me in prayer for him to be bold in his calling.

I'll agree with you in prayer for Pete.  God likes us dependent on Him for everything, but trusting enough to know He will supply everything we need.  We have to lean on Him and when we are weak, we are really strong -- because we don't lean on our own understanding.  As Pete acknowledges God in all his ways, He will direct his paths!  That's a promise that is certain.  Let us know how it all goes for you.  My husband was asked by our pastor to share the message at our Wed. night church service.  He'll be out of town and my husband shared with the men's ministry about a month or so ago on humility.  So many men went to our pastor telling him how he needed to preach it to the whole church.  My husband has never done this before and we are really praying it touches hearts.  It is this week!  I am like really on guard, because I don't want to allow anything to enter into our home or relationship that could hinder what God wants to do.

Thank you for your agreement in prayer.  You know I think it is an awesome thing for God to work through groups of people to really touch their hearts.  It sounds like God has blessed your husband with that which is awesome.  I will pray for you guys also.
