Please pray for my husband and me.

Post by Cami »

My husband and I are having some problems right now.  We really just aren't getting along.  He isn't speaking to me, he has been vary hateful when he does.  I'm sure I have not been the nicest either, but I try very hard to just ignore the things he says and not comment.  I'm not sure exactly what is going on, he won't talk to me to tell me what is bothering him.  He has cheated on me in the past and this is how he started acting at the time.  Our relationship has changed so much since then.  He has been saved and is passionate about God and it has made all the difference in the world, but at the same time when he starts acting the same way as previously, it makes me wonder.  He hasn't been reading his Bible for a couple of weeks now.  I don't know maybe he is just having withdrawals from God.  Who knows.  Just keep us in your prayers please.

I will be praying for you!  Just remember to keep your eyes on Jesus and soak in His strength.  I can tell from your post that you love your husband alot so stay in tune to what Jesus is saying to you and pray for the Holy Spirit to intervene for both of you.

Cami,

You are both in my prayers. My heart really goes out to you.  *hug*  Behavioral changes - especially those that are hurtful can be very confusing and leave you feeling isolated and demoralized. Try to find the strength to just be yourself. Try not to let his behavior change you. Not many people can stand in their anger in the face of kindness. When you pray, listen for the whispers and keep your heart open.

Image  The encouragement you have received is the best...I can add nothing but agreement and Amen (so be it).

Thank you Godstemple and Linda
And thank you too Julie.  I love how you put it.. "Not many people can stand in their anger in the face of kindness"

I wanted to let you know that things are still a little shaky in our house right now but it is getting better everyday.  Thank you for your prayers everyone!

Image Now be in a constant state of Thankfulness for the answer to your prayers. If you have never listened to him, check out Keith Moore (Moore Life Ministries). He has a teaching series on Thanksgiving Victory. All his teachings are free downloads. We played that teaching day and night when we were doing spiritual warfare getting our grandkids returned to their mother from their non-custodial father. The situation looked impossible but staying in a state of Thanksgiving for the answered prayer brought the happy ending we asked for.

Cami ~ I just saw this post today and am hoping and praying that things are really improving in your home. You do sound like you love your DH so much and if the Devil can creep in and destroy the home he feels like he has won - especially a Christian Home! You have gotten some wonderful advise and I don't know anything else to add except that I will be praying for you too and let us know how You are doing. God bless.
