Breakfast _ Large smoothie containing 1 pear, 2 tangelos, 1 cup frozen blueberries, 1 cup frozen mixed fruit... that's it... no juice, no ice, no nothing... soooooo good!

Lunch - made a feast for my family and me...
Roasted Veggies with Pacific Red Wild caught Snapper on top (marinated in olive oil, orange zest, salt and pepper)
Pinto beans with diced tomatoes, seasonings, garlic and onion
Salad with carrots, cukes, cabbage, artisan lettuce and shaved pecorino romano sheeps milk cheese (1 oz)

Dinner, we were so full, we each just had a pear at about 9 p.m.

Ohhhhh, that sounds yummy.
I am going to have to learn how to marinate and roast fish. The only fish I have made that tasted worth a flip was breaded. Know there are lots of other tasty ways to eat fish, and I know we should all eat more. I just need to start learning to cook it healthier more often. Thanks for the inspiration. I think I will try the Flavor Wav convection oven. My oven is not very reliable.

Today is another fruit and soup flush Monday...

Breakfast was an extra large mando smoothie... YUM!

Lunch was a huge salad with roasted eggplant and "Dump" soup... (remants of other soups in the fridge, all stirred into one pot and eaten... try it... it's good!)

Dinner will be a humungous smoothie...

Ciao!  Off to my middle sons baseball game!

I have GOT to stop forgetting to eat breakfast!  It messes up my entire day!

I ate Breakfast today... but didn't get around to it until it was too late yesterday... just got too caught up with life...

Breakfast - 3 tiny oranges and a banana

Lunch - 2 bean chili soup, salad and turkey burger

Dinner will be a smoothie

Birthday season in our extended family is coming around again... so I got my calendar out, marked out all the birthdays, and anticipated what days we'd all be going out to dinner at each bday, and made a note on each day to switch my protein meal that day...
I'm all planned out until June...  This Way of eating is PERFECT for eating out... so easy to make good choices!!!

Keep up the good work!

Yesterday, Jan 29... I had a FEEDING FRENZY day... and COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHY NOTHING SATISFIED ME!!! Sooo... I did what any normal, 41 1/2 year old would do... I took a pregnancy test...

YESS.... A PREGGO TEST... Everytime I have had unsatiable hunger... I have been preggers... THANK GOD ALMIGHTY it was negative... whew!!! Dodged that bullet... ESPECIALLY since my hubby had "the" operation in October... but you and I know that's only 97% effective... soooo... I was very, very, very worried...

TMI?  maybe...oh well... here goes more... The "visitor" arrived waaaaaaay off schedule...much to my happiness... which... incidentally... explains my hunger...

Since starting LDL 7 months ago... my entire "clock" has been reversed...(I apologize to any men reading this... it's just a fact of life, I'm not graphic) where I used to get severely bloated, my feet would swell until they hurt, and my fingers looked like sausages... when Auntie Flo came for a visit, NOW... i get NONE of those horrible symptoms...  My PMS is gone... I never really got cramps... but I used to get a back ache... GONE!!!  I used to LOSE my appetite right before... NOW... I can't get enough... BUT I only eat LDL food so I know I'm okay...  I ALSO STAY FAR, FAR, FAR AWAY FROM my scale during this time...Yikes... could you imagine?  Ugh!

So.. my meals were as follows yesterday...
Breakfast = everything under the sun

Lunch = everything under the sun
Dinner= truth be told... I was too full from all the other stuff... so no dinner... thankfully

Lunch - salad with Wild Alaskan Salmon, 2 turkey burgers, and celery and homemade LDL hummus

Dinner - THE WORLDS LARGEST SMOOTHIE!!!... mmmmmm....

I've discovered that if I eat roasted veggies and beans in the morning, and a decent lunch... I won't be so famished a night like I have been lately... soooooo

Breakfast = roasted cabbage, eggplant, onions and zucchini with a side of scrambled egg whites

Lunch = large salad, more roasted veggies, and some beans

Dinner = smoothie extraordinare.

Wow - you are really a great example for the rest of us. Thanks for sharing. I am a relative newbie and am just starting to do some LDL cooking. I will definitely follow your suggestions.

Been cooking up a storm!!!

Last week, I wasn't up to cooking as much as I should have...and was hungry a lot... I absolutely REFUSE to eat badly just because I don't have things prepared...  Sooo... I cooked while hungry and ate like a vacuum cleaner... NOT a good combo... I tend to eat way too much when too hungry...

This plan works so much better when the soups and burgers and lots of good foods are on hand in the fridge to be eating when hunger strikes...

That being said... I cooked like a mad woman this weekend.

Now I have burgers, soups, beans, washed salad greens, cut veggies, homemade refried beans, cooked brown rice for my family (not me) and chicken cacciatore...
I'm so tired!! But happy.

Breakfasts have been 1 banana

Lunches have been beans, salad, rooibos tea, and grilled eggplant

Dinner's have been blueberry/banana ice cream...

My 2 month plateau seems have been broken...

I started walking a bit every day... and that seemed to do it...

I have been famished lately... again... I think the problem may be that I'm not eating enough for breakfast.  I've been having smoothies... and I need to eat whole fruits... I seem to digest them slower, keeping me fuller longer... I don't like needed to eat lunch at 11 am  because I ate my breakfast at 7 a.m...

So...

Today's breakfast was a banana and some frozen strawberries, defrosted a bit

Lunch was 2 turkey patties and a salad with lettuce, cabbage, carrots, radishes, corn and my dressing.

Dinner will be an apple and a pear and if still not satisfied, I'll pour myself a small bowl of frozen blueberries and munch on them...

Bought and used THE BEST organic, grass fed beef today for burgers!!!

They were a little more expensive... but I felt soooo good serving a better product to my family!!!

Breakfast was coffee and a banana

Lunch was beef burger, salad, and stirfry of corn, onions, spinach and black beans...

Dinner was leftover stirfry

Just bought an old school Perkolater coffee maker... and let me tell you... I forgot how delicious perked coffee is!!! We have the Keurig for mornings... but now I'm perking up decaf at night...and enjoying the best coffee!!!
