Re: Coconut Water
Mary J,
You don't want any flavorings added...just pure water. I buy mine at the healthfood store whenever I make one of the recipes.

Re: Coconut Water
Ok, I checked out the site. The pure coconut water has 60 calories and no fat, but the flavored one (pineapple) has 110 calories and 2.5 grams of fat. Is the pure coconut water ok?

Re: Coconut Water
Coconut water has been a topic on the boards recently and I thought I'd post the latest newsletter from Dr. Andrew Weil regarding the subject.

Re: Coconut Water
Vita Coco is the brand I buy in upstate, ny, nothing added except Vitim C, it is all natural. Online it is a ridiculous amount of money. My local wegmans normally has it on sale for 1.25 for 9 ounces. There is sugar naturally in it from the coconut. I have not had any since starting LDL.
It is wonderfully healthy drink for a treat every now and then. I bet it would be wonderful in a small amount in a smooth y.
